In the drama ‘Why Her?’ Lee Yoo Jin portrays teen Gong Chan (Hwang In Yeop) it was revealed that teen Gong-chan (Lee Yoo Jin) was accused of murdering his step-sister while he was a teen. He pleaded innocent in front of the prosecutor but was sent to the juvenile detention centre after being insulted, where he met Oh Soo-Jae, an innocent public counsel.
Oh Soo-Jae was the only one who believed in Gong-chan, who couldn’t disguise his scepticism and fury against the world while imprisoned in a juvenile detention facility with a sense of unfairness that even his family didn’t believe in and who was warmly embraced by her. Gongchan resolved to become a lawyer to aid others after seeing Oh Soo-Jae at the time, and even went to law school after concluding his life in juvenile detention after being framed.
The two were reunited as professors and students after ten years, but Oh Soo-Jae had forgotten about Gong-chan. Meanwhile, Oh Soo-Jae had been so focused on achieving success at TK Law Firm that she had entirely forgotten about her childhood, and Gong-chan was the only one who remembered Oh Su-Jae. Gongchan is the only person who believes in Oh Soo-Jae, who has changed drastically over time.
