Yoo Ji-tae plays the Professor, a genius strategist mastermind who plans the heist and trains the robberers. He is well known in Korea for his roles in Seven Days, Ode to My Father, Lost and Mistresses etc.
Jun plays Tokya, a edgy, fiery and a troublemaker ex-soldier from North Korea who has an unwavering faith in The Professor. The 27-year-old actor is known for her role in 2018 South Korean thriller Burning. Jun won Best Actress award for the thriller The Call.
Berlin, Professor’s elder brother and the leader of the heist gang. Park is well recognised worldwide after playing Player 218 in Squid Game. He is also known for starring in Prison Playbook and films like By Quantum Physics: A Nightlife Venture and Time to Hunt.
Lee Won-jong as Moscow
Leewon plays Moscow, the master miner who has served in jail and is choosen ti dig tunnel to escape in the series. He is father-figure in the gang. Lee has now appeared in more than 40 Korean movies and over 60 TV shows and is working since 1990.
Kim Ji-hoon as Denver
Kim plays Denver, a short tempered, minor criminal who has a peculiar laughter. He is the son on Moscow in the show. Kim is well known for starring in several romantic comedies like Love Marriage, Stars Falling from the Sky etc.
Jang Yoon-ju as Nairobi
Jang plays Nairobi, a one-woman army in the man’s world who is edgy and high-spirited, with a deep emotional past. Jang is a Korean model, actor and singer-songwriter. She strated modelling at the age of 17 and made her acting debut in 2015.
Lee Hyun-woo as Rio
Hyunwoo plays Rio, a brilliant hacker and the youngest in the gang who joins Professor to execute all the technology related strategies. Lee started his career as a child actor. His films include Secretly, Greatly, and The Con Artists. His TV shows include Moorim School, and The Liar and His Lover.
Kim Ji-hun as Helsinki
Jihun plays Helsinki, who was a part of Yanbian along with his brother Oslo. He’s a part of the gang for muscle power. Kim has appeared in films like The 12th Suspect, Northern Limit Line etc. His TV shows include The Good Detective, Untouchable etc.
Lee Kyu-ho as Oslo
Oslo, who isn’t as scary as his brother Helsinki. He often takes hostages’ side and ensures they don’t get harmed due to his fellow gang members’. Lee has done supporting roles in films including The Outlaws, A Violent Prosecutor etc and many TV shows like The Uncanny Counter.
Park Myung-hoon as Cho Youngmin (Arturo)
Park Myung-hoon plays Cho Youngmin who can happily put other hostages in the line of fire for his survival. Park is best known for his role as Geun-sae in the Academy Award winning film Parasite (2019).
Lee Joobeen as Yun Misun (Stockholm)
Lee plays Yun, a demure employee at the mint, who’s having an affair with Cho Youngmin. She falls in love with him and later joins the gang as Stockholm. Lee is a model-actor who’s done some TV shows and films.
Kim Yunjin as Seon Woojin (RAQUEL)
Kim plays a crisis negotiation team leader of the National Police Agency. She directly speaks with The Professor putting across the demands of the government to strike a deal.
