Who Are SM Entertainment’s 3 New Male SM Rookie Trainees? Get To Know Them

SM Entertainment has finally revealed the faces of three new SM Rookie Trainees.

On July 2, 2022, SM Entertainment relaunched the pre-debut team, SM Rookies by introducing the male trainees Eunseok, Shohei, and Seunghan.

Seunghan is a 2003-born performer with exceptional dancing and singing abilities.

Eunseok is a 2001-born rookie with appealing height and looks.

3. Shohei

Shohei’s full name is Matsushima Shohei. He is a citizen of Japan, was born in 1996 and is a talented DJ and rapper. He was a former member of Avex’s Japanese boy group BXB.

Meanwhile, SMROOKIES is a pre-debut training team which was established by the South Korean entertainment company SM Entertainment in 2013. It was made up of young trainees who hadn’t made their idol group debut. It has created and supported idol groups including Red Velvet and NCT, among others.

Thirty members were formally revealed to the public between 2013 and 2018, with twenty-four of them picked to make their debuts in the groups Red Velvet, NCT and its first four subunits, and Aespa. By the end of 2018, SM has formally ended the project. In 2022, SM relaunched the pre-debut team and presented three trainees.
