Seo Ye Ji, who was trying to make a comeback in the back of her mind, spoke up. It’s been ten months since the issue surrounding actor Kim Jung- Hyun’s manipulation was embroiled in suspicions of academic forgery and school violence. “I’m sorry I’m late,” she wrote in an apology through her agency.
Seo Ye Ji has issued a formal apology over a year after she was embroiled in a scandal over her previous relationship with Kim Jung Hyun.
Finally, on the 27th, Seo Ye Ji’s agency Gold Medalist issued an official statement expressing her regret. “We truly regret causing you tremendous concern about Seo Ye-Ji,” the agency said.
Additionally, Seo Ye-Ji issued an apology letter. “First and foremost, I am deeply sorry that I am conveying my feelings to you, even in writing, so late,” she stated.
“I want to convey my heartfelt apologies for causing many people to distress with my shortcomings,” she concluded. “Everything derives from my immaturity,” she continued, “and I will do my best to act more wisely and project a more mature image in the future.”
Seo Ye Ji faced backlash last year after Dispatch released an article that revealed text messages between the actress and her then-boyfriend Kim Jung Hyun. According to the allegation, Seo Ye Ji asked Kim Jung Hyun to request that the screenplay for his 2018 drama “Time,” in which Seohyun also appeared, be changed to exclude physical contact between him and the female protagonist.
Even though Seo Ye Ji’s agency issued an official statement in response to the news, the actress herself did not publicly address the scandal at the time, she also skipped the press screening of her new film, ‘Tomorrow’s Memory,’ and walked out of the OCN drama ‘Island,’ which was supposed to be her next project, without saying anything.
