Our Blues Kdrama Plot Synopsis/ Story
“Our Blues” is an omnibus-style drama that covers the tale of a wide cast of characters who are all connected in some manner. Lee Dong-Seok grew up in a rural village on the island of Jeju. On the island, he now sells items from his truck. He isn’t a well-educated person. After that, Lee Dong-Seok becomes involved with Min Sun-A, who has recently relocated to Jeju. She has a personal story that no one knows about.
Choi Han-Soo grew up on Jeju Island but later relocated to the city. He is presently back in his hometown. He is the epitome of a city dweller. He meets Jung Eun-Hee, his first love. She owns and operates a fishing shop on the island. Go Mi-Ran is a friend of hers. Go Mi-ran has returned to her hometown of Jeju after becoming frustrated with city life.
For the past year, Lee Young-Ok, who recently relocated to Jeju Island, has been a haenyeo (female diver). She is an intelligent woman, but she is the subject of numerous rumours. She meets Park Jung-Joon, a captain of a ship. He is a warm-hearted man in search of a wife who will not abandon Jeju. Lee Young-Ok becomes his love interest.

Lee Byung-Hun
Lee Byung-hun is a singer and actor. Some of his most acclaimed works include Joint Security Area (2000), A Bittersweet Life (2005), The Good, the Bad, and the Weird (2008), the television series Iris (2009), I Saw the Devil (2010), and Masquerade (2012), and the television series Mr. Sunshine (2018). In “Our Blues,” Lee Byung-hun plays Lee Dong-Seok, a truck owner from Jeju Island.
Shin Min-A
Shin Min-a is a South Korean model and actress who is best known for her roles in the television dramas A Love to Kill (2005), My Girlfriend Is a Nine-Tailed Fox (2010), Arang and the Magistrate (2012), Oh My Venus (2015), Tomorrow, With You (2017), and Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha (2021). In ‘Our Blues’, Min Seon-ah, played by Shin Min-a, is a woman with her own tale who comes to Jeju and works with Lee Dong-Seok.
Cha Seung-Won
Cha Seung-won began his career in the 1990s as a sought-after fashion model. Kick the Moon (2001), Jail Breakers (2002), My Teacher, Mr Kim (2003), and Ghost House (2003) were all box office hits for Cha (2004). Cha’s popularity grew with the television series Bodyguard (2003), City Hall (2009), The Greatest Love (2011), and Hwayugi (2017). In ‘Our Blues’, Cha Seung-won as Choi Han-soo, a perfect modern city man who returns to his birthplace of Jeju as Jeong Eun-Hee’s first love.
Lee Jung-Eun
Lee Jung-Eun is a South Korean actress. She is most recognised for her performance as Moon-Gwang, the housekeeper in the Academy Award-winning film Parasite. She also appeared in Juvenile Justice, Soundtrack#1, Beyond The memory. In ‘Our Blues’, Lee Jung-Eun plays Jeong Eun-hee, the cheerful proprietor of a fish market.
Lee Young-ok
Han Ji-min made her breakthrough role in the revenge series Resurrection in 2005, after minor roles in All In and Dae Jang Geum. Leading roles in period dramas Capital Scandal and Yi San; contemporary dramas Cain and Abel and Padam Padam; romance dramas Rooftop Prince, Familiar Wife, and The Light in Your Eyes; and drama film Miss Baek. In ‘Our Blues’, Lee Young-ok, a first-year haenyeo (female diver), is played by Han Ji-min.
Kim Woo-Bin
Kim Woo-bin, model and actor. He started out as a runway model before landing his first acting role in the television drama White Christmas. Following that, he achieved popularity with A Gentleman’s Dignity (2012) and The Heirs (2013–2014). In 2016, he landed his first major television role in Uncontrollably Fond. In ‘Our Blues’, the character of Park Jeong-Joon is played by Kim Woo-bin, a captain with a clear and friendly personality.
