Netflix’s ‘The Sound of Magic’ Ranked 7th Globally After Just One Day Of Its Release

One day after its premiere, Netflix’s new original Korean fantasy drama series ‘The Sound Of Magic’ was ranked 7th in the global rankings.’

The Sound of Magic‘ was placed 7th in the world in the Netflix TV programme category on the 8th of May, according to ‘Flix Patrol,’ an online content service ranking site.

Flix Patrol is a private website that ranks and compiles country rankings based on Netflix’s top ten rankings.

It came in second place in Qatar, Philippines, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh, and third place in 11 countries, including India, Malaysia, Vietnam, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia.

A total of 32 countries were counted in the rankings announced on this day, concentrating on the countries in Asia and the Middle East that were ranked in the top 10, with Korea, the United States, and major European countries excluded.

On the 6th of May, ‘Sound Of Magic’ was released in 190 countries.

Meanwhile, The Sound of Magic is a South Korean Netflix Original Series based on Ilkwon Ha’s Naver Webtoon ‘Annarasumanara’. Directed by Kim Seong-Yoon and written by Kim Min Jeong, Ji Chang-Wook, Choi Sung-Eun, and Hwang In-Youp are in the lead roles.

It tells the story of a girl who wants to grow up too quickly and a mysterious magician who is an adult but wishes to stay a child. The series was set to premiere exclusively on Netflix on May 6, 2022.
