Moon Ga-young is a German-born South Korean actress. She is best known for her roles in the television drama series Heartstrings, EXO Next Door, Mirror of the Witch, Don’t Dare to Dream, Tempted, Welcome to Waikiki 2, Find Me in Your Memory, True Beauty, and Link: Eat, Love, Kill.
Moon was born on July 10, 1996, in Karlsruhe, Germany, to South Korean parents. Ga Young returned to Korea when she was ten years old in 2006, and she immediately began her acting career as a child actress, working in both film and television under the banner of SM C&C.

Moon Ga Young Career
Moon began her career as a child actress in 2006 and has since been in both film and television. Ga Young, while a teenager, made her acting debut as the title character in Mimi, a four-episode mystery/romance drama that aired on Mnet in 2014.
She starred as the female protagonist in the online drama EXO Next Door, which premiered on Naver TV Cast in April 2015. She subsequently went on to appear in the hit television shows Don’t Dare to Dream and Live Up to Your Name as a supporting character. She starred in the drama special Waltzing Alone in 2017.
She starred in the romantic drama Tempted in 2018. At the MBC Drama Awards, her performance earned her an Excellence Award for Best Actress in a Monday-Tuesday Drama.
Young joined the main cast of the comic television series Welcome to Waikiki 2 in 2019. Ga Young starred as the female lead in the romantic television series Find Me in Your Memory, which will premiere in 2020. In December 2020, Ga young featured as Lim Ju-Kyung, the female lead in the tvN series True Beauty.
In 2022, she starred in a Disney+ and tvN drama “Link” as Noh Ha Dyun alongside Yeo Jin Goo. Yeo Jin Goo and Moon Ga Young were last seen together in a 2010 historical drama “The Reputable Family,” where they starred as child actors. They were reuniting after a decade.
