Lee Seung-gi who is 35 acknowledged his feelings for Da-in Lee who is 29, with whom he is currently in a relationship.
Lee Seung-gi, a singer and actor, not only confirmed that he and his girlfriend, actor Lee Da-in, are still together but also disclosed the reason for his silence, reaffirming their love in front of the world.
Lee Seung-gi sent a long statement on his official website on a bulletin board that only his fan club members could access on the afternoon of the 5th of May. He addressed the controversies surrounding his relationship with Lee Da-in directly, including debunking rumours of a separation.
He wrote, “I believe our previous year was one in which we were really sick, hurt, and lacked communication, so we opened up after much thought”.
According to Lee Seung-gi, “In the midst of many commotions, I spared my words because, initially, I feared that what I was thinking would not be transmitted correctly owing to emotional phrases. I assumed that if something happened, it would result in even more misunderstandings and scars.”
“Secondly, we were afraid that more individuals would be hurt when our communication and stories spread outside and would warp into secondary rumours, and there were fears that it would be exploited as another source of gossip by some people, so we clarify the positions of some people.” I hope you appreciate that I was stunned when I was asked to give my view.”
“However, I have not had any change in my career or personal life since the dating rumours last year,” he concluded.

Lee Seung-gi and Lee Da-in announced their relationship in May of last year. Lee Da-in wrote a significant statement on social media in August, just three months later, and was previously caught up in speculations of a breakup.
Lee Seung-gi and Lee Da-in, on the other hand, have made no more statements about the tumultuous public dating process. As a result, the public’s interest in Lee Seung-gi and Lee Da-in grew, although there was also a sentiment that personal privacy should be respected.
