Lee Joon Gi Alongside Shin Se Kyung Is In Talks To Star In Arthdal Chronicles 2

Studio Dragon, the ‘Arthdal Chronicles’ production firm, told Maeil Business Star Today on the 20th. After an in-depth discussion with the writer and production team, they proposed the character of Eun-seom in “Arthdal Chronicles Season 2” to Lee Joon Gi, and they are presently reviewing it.

Arthdal Chronicles 2: The Second Season is the second season of the fantasy series “Arthdal Chronicles,” which premiered in 2019. “Arthdal Chronicles Season 2” is in the works, with a release date set for this year. Following Season 1, Kim Young-Hyeon and Park Sang-Yeon will write the script, which will be directed by Kim Kwang-Sik of the film Ansiseong.

The disastrous story of heroes authoring diverse legends in the ancient realm of ‘Arth’ is told in ‘Arthdal Chronicle’ (2019, directed by Kim Won-Seok), starring Song Joong-ki, Jang Dong-gun, Kim Ji-won, Kim Ok-bin, and others. It garnered notice at first because it was set in a fictional ancient era, but it was shut down owing to strong criticism.

Season 2 was supposed to premiere in the second half of 2020. However, the production schedule was postponed indefinitely owing to the spread of Corona 19, which made it hard to film in foreign locations.

When it comes to the arrival of the new drama ‘Arthdal Chronicle’ season 2, actor Lee Joon-Gi’s side remarked, “It’s one of the works under review.” Arthdal Chronicles 2′ is one of the works under review, Lee Joon-Gi’s agency, Namoo Actors, told Newsen on April 20.

Lee Joon-gi portrays Kim Hee-woo in the SBS drama ‘Again My Life,’ which was the first broadcast on April 8 and is currently airing.

Meanwhile, Shin Se Kyung is reportedly confirmed as the female lead cast of Arthdal Chronicles 2. She will play Tanya in season 2.
