Ji Chang-Wook and Choi Soo-young are two different personalities in KBS2’s new Wednesday and Thursday drama “If You Wish Upon Me.”
If You Wish Upon Me is therapeutic drama about a sensitive young man, driven at the end of his life, who grants people’s last wishes at a hospice hospital and relieves their suffering. It is slated to broadcast for the first time at 9:50 pm KST on the 10th of August on KBS2 TV.
On the 21st of July, the drama side released two-shot stills of Ji Chan Wook and Choi Soo Young. The calm mood of between Ji Chang-Wook (Yoon Gyeore) and Choi Soo-young (Seo Yeon-Joo) can be interpreted from the released stills. They are smiling mischievously in the stills. Curiosity is sparked by the sight of two persons sitting side by side while getting ready to grant someone’s wish on stage.
Ji Chang-Wook plays Yoon Gye-ree, a “broken adult child” who has lost all desire to live and has taken to torturing himself out of habit. Choi Soo-young portrays Seo Yeon-Joo, a nurse at a hospice hospital who believes that losing her muscles will bring about the end of the world and who, simply by being alive, gives patients hope. It piques interest in what type of relationship will develop between Seo Yeon-Joo and, a fellow Yoon who begins working at a hospice hospital as a result of an unintentional mishap.
Excitement is sparked by Ji Chang-Wook and Choi Soo-young’s tender eye contact. It brings attention to the changes that will occur in the relationship between two people who lead quite different lives and will be involved in “Team Genie” before they have an honest conversation.
