South Korea celebrates Children’s Day every year on May 5.
On Children’s Day, singer and actress IU expressed her love for kids.
On Children’s Day, IU donated 100 million won to the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation on the 5th of May.
IU’s donation will be utilised to help and support the living expenses of children from low-income single-parent families and grandparents, as well as to renovate children’s facilities.
IU, who has been consistently doing good deeds since her debut, has donated every year since 2015 to children in need, particularly on Children’s Day. On the 100th anniversary of Children’s Day, she spread warmth to those in her community by performing a more significant good deed.
IU has just made a name for herself as a leading and beloved actress. She has completed filming for the film ‘Dream,’ and she is preparing to enter the Cannes Film Festival with Hirokazu Koreeda’s ‘The Broker.’
