The honeymoon vacation of Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin is exposed at every turn, making them targets for the paparazzi. There is far too much interest in passing on the two’s fame.
Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin, the “Couple of the Century,” were married on the 31st of last month at the Sheraton Grande Walkerhill Hotel Aston House in Gwangjang-dong, Seoul, in a dream wedding ceremony.
The wedding of the two, who became a ‘Korean Wave couple’ amid many congratulations from their relatives and coworkers, has piqued the interest of Korean and Asian fans alike, drew a great deal of attention
Their behaviours following the wedding were also discussed. Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin flew on their honeymoon to Los Angeles, USA, via Incheon International Airport on the 11th of this month after spending 11 days in their newlywed home in Guri-si, Gyeonggi-do.
The problem was diffused in Korea by going through departure procedures at 10-minute intervals, but once at Tom Bradley International Airport in Los Angeles, the scenario became saturated with curiosity. Local fans came to the airport, asking for autographs from the two and even displaying excessive fan passion by following them around without wearing a mask and photographing them.
Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin, who started their honeymoon in Los Angeles, relocated to New York and continued their journey after such twists and turns. The paparazzi’s harassment of the two continued in New York as well.
A Chinese netizen, in particular, shared a photo of the two of them eating at the same restaurant with the statement, “Their acquaintances spotted Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin having a lunch someplace in New York, USA,” on Chinese social media. This was also a paparazzi photo on which the two couldn’t agree. On the same day, Chinese media outlet Sina Entertainment published a photo of the two on a New York street date, which drew worldwide attention.
#Binjin is a hot topic these days. It was a honeymoon for them and a once-in-a-lifetime honeymoon, but it was aired live to people all around the world from the beginning to the end. It’s a far too intrusive invasion of privacy to be labelled a celebrity.
