To commemorate their ninth anniversary of their debut, the boy band BTS—RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook—announced a temporary suspension of group activities.
On June 14, BTS uploaded a video of “Steamed BTS Dinner” to their official YouTube channel, “BANGTAN TV.”
BTS released “Steamed BTS Dinner” as part of the “BTS FESTA” celebration of the nine-year anniversary of their debut. BTS, which made its debut on June 13, 2013, celebrates their debut anniversary with fans for around a month in June by releasing a variety of contents one after another every year.
On 10th, BTS released “Proof,” a new anthology-style album. Through this album, the seven members stated their desire to go back to their original goals and to write a beautiful story with their fans, reflecting on the many successes they had shared together over the past nine years.
For the time being, BTS has stated that they will concentrate on solo activities rather than group activities. Each of the seven members intends to carry out unique activities, including as the release of a solo album, beginning with J-Hope.
Meanwhile, there is no set time for when BTS’ group activities will resume.
