Blackpink’s New Song ‘Pink Venom’ Surpasses 100 Million Views In The Shortest Time

The girl group BLACKPINK recently released a new song called “Pink Venom,” and it quickly surpassed 100 million YouTube views, setting a record for the Blackpink K-pop girl group.

According to the company blackpink’s talent agency, YG Entertainment, it took this music video 29 hours after its release and at 6:35pm KST on the 20th to reach 100 million views in YouTube making it them the first k-pop girl group to reach this milestone in the shortest time.

Pink Venom, Blackpink’s second studio album, started at the top of the iTunes Top Song Charts in 69 various countries on the day it was released.

Blackpink, a South Korean girl group, recorded the song Pink Venom, which was released on August 19, 2022. It was made available via YG Entertainment and Interscope Records as a pre-release single from the group’s second studio album in Korean, Born Pink (2022).

The pre-release single for the album, “Pink Venom,” was confirmed to be released on August 19 and given the name on August 7, 2022. On August 10, Blackpink’s official social media accounts published two groups of individual member teaser posters. Two sets of concept teaser videos for each individual member were made available on August 11 and 12.

On August 13, a teaser poster featuring all four performers revealed the song’s credits. A new concept video that showed all four members being imprisoned in a glass box was unveiled the following day. The music video’s teaser was unveiled on August 17. The “#PinkVenomChallenge” and the music video were launched together on August 19.

Meanwhile, Black Pink and the group BTS were both nominated for “Group of the Year” at the “MTV Video Music Awards,” a gala honouring American popular music.
