Black Knight Kdrama Plot Synopsis
This story takes place in 2071, when the world has been devastated by lethal air pollution. Only a small fraction of the population, approximately 1 percent, has survived, and a rigid caste system has emerged. Due to the contaminated air, people seldom venture outside, and when they do, they must wear gas masks. The people are heavily reliant on parcel delivery services for their everyday requirements.
These deliveries are handled by knights, who not only deliver the packages but also protect them from robbers.One of the most renowned knights is Knight 5-8 (Kim Woo-Bin), who is not only highly skilled in physical combat but also a legendary figure.
One day, he meets Sa-Wol (Kang You-Seok), a refugee who dreams of becoming a knight himself and idolizes Knight 5-8. Sa-Wol is saved from danger by Seol-A (Esom), an officer in the Defense Intelligence Command, who takes care of him like her own family. With the help of Knight 5-8, Sa-Wol’s ambition to become a knight comes true.
